Averaging

Averages .EEG file using the parameters you specify. Enter sort criteria based on the markers used to separate trials into groups (correct, error, etc)

Open the baseline corrected and artifact rejected .eeg file

Click Transforms > Average

Clich Sort Criteria

Click type and enter the markers you wish to average
Click response if you wish to average responses (you can also average responses by entering the response markers in type)
For stimulus locked epochs, you can select correct to choose whether or not to include trials with incorrect responses in your average
When you have selected the proper parameters, click OK

Select the output file name (e.g. DE_S01_bright_error.avg)

Click OK

If you wish to see a quick comparison of multiple average files, click transforms > load comparison file
